Our Middle School Youth led us in a “Fill the Ark” fundraising campaign for Heifer International this Lenten season. They learned about global hunger and other socioeconomic and ecological injustices. The MSY invited the congregation into a 22-hour fast, which was broken with Holy Communion during a worship service they helped lead in March. In addition, the MSY helped lead a children’s Sunday school activity on Easter Sunday. Our January – March children’s offerings (age 3 – grade 4) also went toward "Fill the Ark", and together, we raised over $4,000 to help send a dozen pair of animals to villages across our global community. Many members and friends of St. Paul's UCC contributed to this project! |
High School Youth
This group’s purpose is to build a network of caring, faith-based relationships and to pursue service and fun within and beyond the community of St. Paul’s UCC. To connect with us on Facebook, please click here. We gather for casual conversation on 3rd Sundays during Fair Trade Coffee Hour (11:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.). Friends and visitors are welcome!

Intergenerational Journey of Faith
Our Wednesday evening adult Journey of Faith program frequently expands to incorporate children and youth. Four times per year, we join together with local neighbors in packing boxes of food for our underfed neighbors in the global community at Feed My Starving Children.

All are invited to join in upcoming intergenerational programs
Confirmation
Bread for the Journey: A Confirmation Program invites participants to explore, confirm and expand their Christian faith in the company of friends from other area churches.
Please let Pastor Norma Rae Hunt know ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) if would like further information, or might consider being an adult volunteer for parts of the program. Confirmation can be so much more than a class--we expect Bread for the Journey to transform lives!
Journey Together Book Groups:
January book: The Shack by Wm. Paul Young
Journey Together Book Groups is a small group experience. Members and friends of St. Paul’s UCC (age 14 and older) meet on a weekly basis for 90 minutes, across 4 weeks, in groups of 5-8 people. Small group gatherings involve deepening of relationships, discussion of a specific portion of the book, prayer, and snacks.
