During November, we’ll continue to focus on Short Stories by Jesus, a video series featuring Amy-Jill Levine, a Jewish scholar of the New Testament at Vanderbilt University. Levine considers the meaning of familiar parables in light of first-century Jewish culture. The results are sometimes very different from our traditional Christian interpretations.
