Music

Sanctuary Choir

The Sanctuary Choir is an adult SATB ensemble which performs most Sundays from September through the beginning of June. Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings from 7:30-9:00pm. Led by a team of professional section leaders, the choir performs in a variety of musical styles accompanied by organ, piano, and various other instruments. Our music strongly reflects our faith values of love, justice, and inclusivity. New members are welcome at any time.

Covenant Ringers

The Covenant Ringers is a handbell choir which performs 2-3 times per year, usually in early December and late spring. Rehearsals are held on Saturday mornings from 10:00-11:30am for four weeks prior to the performance. Ringers should have the ability to read rhythms, and be able to lift handbells weighing approximately 1-2 pounds (though many are lighter). The bells typically play one or two pieces during the service, and help to accompany the hymns.

Evensong Ensemble

The Evensong Ensemble is a group of classical and folk instruments such as harp, violin, cello, clarinet, hammered dulcimer, mandola, and piano. With a repertoire of pieces from the Taizé and Iona traditions, as well as many beloved hymn tunes, they can be heard at the Advent and Lent evensong services, as well as Good Friday and other occasions where contemplative music is needed. There are also many opportunities for musicians to assist with regular Sunday worship.

New members of any voice part are welcome!
