Palm Sunday
Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week. Our worship will engage Jesus’ hopeful but fraught entry into Jerusalem. We’ll wave palms, sing Hosannas, and immerse ourselves in the story of Jesus’ final days.
Holy Thursday
Maundy Thursday Supper | 5:45 pm | Narthex
Tenebrae Worship | 6:30 pm | Sanctuary
Join us for a Maundy Thursday Supper with a casual Mediterranean meal, hand-washing, and communion as we remember the Last Supper Jesus spent with disciples for Passover (link to RSVP). Then, we'll move into the Sanctuary for a Tenebrae Service (service of shadows) to hear the last words of Christ, shared in dramatic fashion.
The Tenebrae Service will take the place of Good Friday worship this year. The Maundy Thursday Supper will be family-friendly and a joyful way to remember Jesus' last day with his friends. The worship service will be solemn in tone given the subject matter, but we welcome parents to use their own discretion as to whether their children should stay.
Easter Egg Hunt
Our young ones and their trusted adults are welcome to attend the annual Easter Egg Hunt! There will be a big egg hunt, snacks, and crafts. Bring a basket with you.
Easter Sunday Potluck Breakfast
You are invited to our best potluck of the year. Bring your favorite breakfast item to share with at least 20 people as we celebrate Easter, together with our chosen church family. A main/side dish (potatoes and protein) is most welcome, followed by fruit, baked goods, or juice. All are welcome!
Easter Sunday Worship
Easter Sunday will include traditional brass, joyous choral singing, fragrant flowers, and the proclamation of resurrection joy. This is a meaningful day for Christians, and a chance to welcome spring and give thanks for the blessing of seasons and new life.
Click here to be directed to our Easter Flower form.

School Tools Drive
Donations accepted at church Sunday, August 3 - August 24
The School Tools Drive is an easy way to join with area faith communities and organizations to help children in our community who are affected by poverty. Each year, we collect new backpacks and school essentials to benefit children from families with low-income who are served through nine different programs in Greater Saint Paul. Annually faith communities, businesses, and individuals collect more than $24,000 of school supplies to fill hundreds of backpacks! St. Paul's UCC is the host site once again this year! Dismantling and Imagining Beyond White Supremacy: Training Opportunity
Crossroads Antiracism Organizing and Training is offering a Twin Cities workshop, “The Values Gap: Moving from Symbolic Gestures to Lasting Transformation.” The session explores how organizations can move beyond symbolic commitments to justice by examining the values that shape culture, decision-making, and relationships - especially during times of pressure or conflict. This training is a strong foundation for those interested in St. Paul’s UCC’s ongoing work to dismantle and imagine beyond white supremacy and a helpful follow-up to recent faith formation sessions.
Learn more and register here: https://crossroadsantiracism.org/register/.
The church can help cover the registration fee, contact Kate Hansen for more information.
Additional learning opportunities will be offered as we continue this journey together
