One Home,
Many Communities
St. Paul’s UCC is committed to being a welcoming community - not only in our congregation, but also in how we share our building and our resources. We believe our space is a community resource, and we are grateful to host a variety of organizations and groups whose work enriches our wider neighborhood.
St. Paul's Childhood Center
Providing 50 years of excellence in early childhood education!
St. Paul's Childhood Center (SPCC) is a nonprofit early childhood education center founded by St. Paul's United Church of Christ on September 4, 1970. We provide exceptional early childhood education for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old (and ages 5-12 in our summer school program). SPCC has National Early Childhood Program Accreditation and is a highest-rated 4-star center in the Parent Aware program.
We seek to provide a safe, engaging environment for early learning that fosters physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development. We promote individuality through a community-inclusive, child-interactive, arts-infused emergent curriculum. Licensed by the State of Minnesota, SPCC is proud to offer a place for early learning with low student-to-faculty ratios and highly qualified faculty.
Located in the beautiful and historic Summit-Grand Avenue neighborhood, our facility includes spacious classrooms full of natural light, a superb large-muscle room, an art studio, a playground with a whimsical playhouse, and a nurturing staff dedicated to early childhood education.
Holy Presence Catholic Community
Established in 2020.
A safe place to land.
Since 2021, Holy Presence has used our space for worship gatherings. We are grateful to welcome this inclusive faith community into our building and are pleased to share our space as they gather in worship each week. Over the years, we have built a wonderful friendship and are grateful for the connection we share as neighbors in faith.
Multiple AA Communities
We welcome several independent Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) groups that meet in our building each week. While these groups are not affiliated with St. Paul’s, we are grateful to provide a welcoming space for their important work of recovery and support. St. Paul Chamber Orchestra (SPCO)
St. Paul’s UCC is proud to welcome the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra as a long-time community partner. Each season, SPCO uses our sanctuary for many of their concerts, bringing world-class music into our beautiful space. Our sanctuary’s acoustics have been enjoyed by musicians and audiences for years, and we are grateful to share our building with this valued community organization.
