We offer a variety of recreational, service, educational, and relationship-building activities designed to nurture middle and high school youth as they grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and explore their place in the world.

Youth Group
Grades 6-12
Our Youth Group is a vibrant and welcoming space where young people can grow in faith, build lasting friendships, and explore what it means to live out their values in today’s world. Through a mix of fun activities, meaningful conversations, service projects, and shared experiences, youth are invited to connect with one another and deepen their sense of belonging.
We believe youth are not just participants, but leaders in our community. Their voices, ideas, and creativity help shape gatherings, events, and the direction of the group. Whether we’re serving together, having honest conversations about life and faith, or simply enjoying time together, Youth Group is a place to be known, supported, and inspired.
Friends and visitors are always welcome—come as you are and bring a friend!

Minnesota Conference UCC Youth Events & Summer Camp
Our youth and adult leaders attend middle school and high school youth events, hosted each fall and spring by the Minnesota Conference UCC. Our youth grow in faith and have lots of fun, enjoying time with each other and youth from our wider church.
Our youth and adult leaders participate in a one-week summer youth camp each year with friends in the Minnesota Conference UCC.
Our Whole Lives (OWL) Sexuality Education
We offer the OWL program most years for one or more age groups — age-appropriate versions are tailored to Grades 1 & 2, 5 & 6, 7-9, and 10-12. This excellent curriculum was developed by the UCC and UUA in collaboration with secular sexuality educators. Learn more about this empowering program.
Confirmation
Exploring faith questions, expanding understandings, and confirming our ongoing journey in the Christian faith in the company of peers and supportive adults
Our 8th- and 9th-graders engage in a one-year Confirmation program. Core beliefs we explore include Community Life, Our History and Heritage, God, Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit, the Church, and God’s Gifts and Our Response. The program includes field trips, an ongoing conversation with an adult Faith Companion, leadership formation, and more. Newcomers are welcome!
For more information, contact the church office Eli’jah Carroll, Associate Minister.
National
Youth Event
Every four years, youth of the United Church of Christ and the Christian Church Disciples of Christ gather from across the country for our National Youth Event. While there, we participate in a variety of workshops, service projects, worship services, social justice immersion, fellowship, and much more. We had a blast in 2016 and look forward to the next gathering!
