We will again begin by grounding in gratitude, reflecting on our own gratitude for land, family, and ancestral traditions. We will then move into discussion of the Doctrine of Discovery and its legacy, framed by Jennifer Henry’s talk on Repudiating the Doctrine of Discovery, delivered at the 2015 National Convention of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada.
