February 15, 2023 | Liturgical Art – The Work AND Play of the People!!

Dawn Carlson Conn M.Div., has been creating “visual theology” ever since graduating from United Theological Seminary in 1997.

Liturgy literally means “the work of the people” and Dawn will share images of what she and others have created for worship spaces including the process of making meaning together. The starting point is always meaning – and the results often surprise the creators (and, perhaps, The Creator!) Questions about process, content and materials are encouraged and hopefully we will all think of new ways to visually express the presence of the Holy One in our individual and communal lives.
