Milestones are our firsts. They are significant cultural and developmental markers we experience throughout life—first steps, words, teeth, day of school. There are also firsts in our faith journeys. Prayer, Holy Communion Sunday School, receiving a Bible, engaging in community outreach. Faith forms through all that we are and all we do as God’s beloved people. Individual faith is nurtured within an ever-developing faith community. The beginnings milestone will provide an opportunity for your young one to Experience a Sacred Story in preparation for joining a Sunday School group. Children welcome to repeat the Beginnings Milestone if planning to enter Kindergarten at age 6.
