Milestones are our firsts. They are significant cultural and developmental markers we experience throughout life—first steps, words, teeth, day of school. There are also first in our faith journeys. Prayer, Holy Communion Sunday School, receiving a Bible, engaging in community outreach. Faith forms through all that we are and all we do as God’s beloved people. Individual faith is nurtured within an ever-developing faith community. During the worship around the year milestone, we’ll explore the different parts of the liturgical year. We will also identify colors, themes and Scripture associated with each season.
