Summer Book Club
MINISTRY OF SPIRITUAL LIFE
Wednesdays June 28, July 26, Aug 30 | 6:30 pm | Fireside Room
Please save the dates for our summer book read. On the last Wednesday of June, July, and August, we’ll gather in the Fireside Room (or outside) to discuss that month’s book. All are welcome, and you don’t need to finish the books to participate. Books can be purchased at your local independent bookstore or checked out at your local public library, as well as ordered from your favorite online retailer.
Here's what we’ll be reading and discussing:
June 28 – Saving Us: A Climate Scientist’s Case for Hope and Healing in a Divided World by Katharine Hayhoe
July 26 – Ways of Being: Animals, Plants, Machines: The Search for a Planetary Intelligence by James Bridle
August 30 – Poetry Unbound: 50 Poems to Open Your World by Pádraig Ó Tuama
