Midweek Faith Formation and Connection
Our Adult Faith Formation programs offer a welcoming space to be gathered for a meal, ground ourselves in sacred space and relationships, and grow our faith and spirituality. Families and young ones are welcome to come for dinner if you need an easy mid-week meal and time with friends. This year, we’ll be Gathered, Grounded, and Growing through connection and stories. Each evening will be centered around Stories of Faith from our own members, Stories of Scripture retold by scholars, Stories of Our Time to engage the intersection of faith and culture, and Stories Our Bodies Tell to help us understand our bodies as sacred space. These evenings are designed to help you connect with others, get centered after a long day, and connect your faith with everyday life. We invite you to join us on our shared Journey of Faith.
Finding Resilience, Joy and Our Identity in Christ
THURSDAYS
10:30 -11:30 am | BYO Lunch After
In this Bible study, we will explore resilience as modeled for us by several biblical characters, gospel and epistle writers, as well as Jesus. The Bible study is also about joy.
How do we find Spiritual joy in a chaotic world?
We will also seek to rediscover our identity. Identity is more than who we are or who we show ourselves to be. At its core, it points to who we are as people of God, and sojourners on the Way with Christ.
The study booklet is available for pick-up in the office or at the Welcome Desk.
Words on the Word
SUNDAYS
9:15 - 10:15 am
Start your Sunday morning by diving deeper into scripture!
Join Rev. Sarah Brouwer for a thoughtful and engaging text study that explores the scripture reading for that morning’s worship service. Together, we’ll unpack the passage, ask questions, and discover how the ancient words of faith continue to speak into our lives today.
This is a relaxed, welcoming space - no prior preparation needed, just brinh your curiosity and openness. Whether you’re new to Bible study ot a longtime learner, you’ll find insight, conversation, ad connection.
Choir members - don’t worry! Even if you need to slip out early for rehearsal at 9:45 am, you are warmly encouraged to come.
