Early Childhood Educator
St. Paul’s Childhood Center
We are currently hiring teachers for our Infant space. This position is full-time, 40 hours per week. It is a 9-hour shift with a 1-hour break scheduled Monday through Friday.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include: working in a collaborative environment to create a structured and safe learning community, developing weekly lesson plans based on emergent curriculum inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, positively communicating with families and co-workers, facilitating meaningful interactions and lasting relationships with children, and utilizing observation skills to document children’s learning and developmental progress.
Qualifications and Expectations
Associate or bachelor’s degree, preferably in Early Childhood or related field
Experience in licensed, accredited early childhood setting
Working knowledge of early childhood development, diverse communities, and emergent curriculum
Love and passion for working with children
Excellent attendance and punctuality
Commitment to long-term employment
Must have or be willing to obtain Infant/Child CPR and First-Aid Certification
