Eco-Fair on Summit 2025

EARTHWISE CREATION JUSTICE

Saturday, May 17th
1:00 - 4:00 pm
House of Hope Parking Lot

Your one-stop shop for leading a more sustainable life. A unique, interfaith partnership of congregations on, or near Summit Ave., including St. Paul’s UCC, have united to host the first-ever Eco-Fair on Summit, with support from Minnesota Interfaith Power & Light (MNIPL).

Just a few days to EcoFair on Summit lift-off!!! This is going to be a huge, exciting eco event for our church. We still need MANY volunteer slots filled, and would truly appreciate your help. If you can take a short 1 1/2 hour shift and then go and enjoy the Fair, it will make our event come together beautifully. Thank you!

The grounds will be teaming with all things green! The Fair will feature engaging, interactive activities, an EV showroom, green technology for the home, organic gardening, healthy cooking, environmental advocacy and much more. From a kid’s bike rodeo and clean energy food truck to pollinator gardens and Patagonia’s mobile recycle shop – there’s something for everyone at this Fair!

The family-friendly fair includes children’s activities like an on-site Red Balloon bookstore, as well as the opportunity to check out an electric firetruck or bus. More than a dozen electric cars – some with test drives – will be on hand for folks interested in getting behind the wheel. Attendees can sample food truck fare and the newest NA beers from Summit Brewing in the Blue Skies picnic area.

The Fair is receiving support from Bank of America/Merril Lynch; Apadana Solar; Mairs & Powers; Modern Heating & Air; Sovran; GS Motors; Patagonia on Grand; and Summit Brewing.
