Soprano Section Leader/Soloist

St. Paul’s United Church of Christ Sanctuary Choir is seeking a Soprano Section Leader/Soloist for the upcoming program year.

The section leader provides vocal leadership during rehearsals, sings with the soprano section on choral anthems, performs solos or small ensemble selections as needed, and assists in leading hymns and sung responses during worship.

Qualifications

• Strong background in choral singing

• Excellent music reading skills

• Vocal flexibility to sing a variety of musical styles and genres

Schedule

• Worship: Sundays at 10:30 a.m. (September through early June)

• Sunday Call Time: 9:45 a.m.

• Rehearsals: Wednesdays, 7:30–9:00 p.m.

Compensation

• $60 per regular call

• $75 per special service (including Christmas and Easter)
