Sunday's Offering will go to the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota (ILCM)

SOCIAL JUSTICE & OUTREACH

ILCM is a nonprofit organization that provides free immigration legal representation to low-income immigrants and refugees in Minnesota and North Dakota. Examples of their work include representing detained immigrants in immigration court, working with those who are eligible to obtain citizenship, supporting DACA recipients (the Dreamers) when they need to renew their status, and helping those from countries in turmoil who are eligible to obtain Temporary Protected Status. ILCM works with its own lawyers but also with pro bono legal professionals. They are now recruiting volunteers to accompany clients to citizenship appointments to the USCIS Application Support Center ILCM also works to educate the community about immigration matters and advocates for fair and just public policies that support and protect the rights of immigrant and refugee communities. At this difficult time in our state, the demand for the services provided by the Immigrant Law Center is very high and, unfortunately, they are not able to support all who need help. Please give generously. Learn more about ILCM here: https://www.ilcm.org/
