Congregational Meeting to Call a new Associate Minister

The Associate Minister Search Committee of St. Paul's United Church of Christ is thrilled to announce they have offered the position of Associate Minister to an outstanding and qualified candidate, and that person has agreed to come and serve among us!

Therefore, the Ministry Board of St. Paul's United Church of Christ has scheduled a duly called-special meeting of the congregation for the purpose of calling a new Associate Minister on Sunday July 12, 2026.

Meeting Date and Time
Sunday July 12, 2026
Approximately 11:20am, at the end of worship (worship starts at 10:30am)

Live-stream and Zoom
If you are not able to attend in person, worship and the congregational meeting will be live-streamed. Church Members joining on live-stream are invited to join a concurrent zoom meeting to ask questions and vote. The zoom meeting to vote will start at 11:15 am

Only church members can vote
Only members of the church -- those who have officially joined -- can vote in congregational meetings. A paper notice will also go out in the mail in the coming days.

Candidate Information
Even though the search committee is bursting at the seems with excitement, they will not be able to tell you about this person until July 12 because the candidate is currently serving a congregation and will not be informing that church about their departure until after our congregational meeting -- they need to be able to share that news. Thank you for respecting the search committee's need to keep the candidate's identity confidential. We will share more information in the coming days about a meet and greet before worship on July 12, as well as a celebration afterward, and a start date.

Associate Minister Search Committee: Many Thanks!
Many thanks to our wonderful Associate Minister Search Committee Whitney Wais (Woods), Chair, Bob Galkiewicz, Ed Jirak, Luke Pacha, Catharine Reid, and Georgina Santos.

In the last month the Associate Minister Search Committee has been reviewing and interviewing applicants. These applicants feel drawn to St. Paul's UCC because we are a growing, healthy church that invites creativity and collaboration. We have identified two qualified candidates and are scheduling final interviews.
