It’s Special Offering Time - October 4
SOCIAL JUSTICE AND PARTNERSHIPS
On October 4, we will be focusing on two of UCC’s special offerings:
Neighbors in Need supports ministries of justice and compassion – including environmental justice, racial justice LGBTQ justice, economic justice, women’s justice and immigration justice. Some projects are funded are direct service while others focus on advocacy to address systemic injustice. 1/3 of the funds raised goes to the Council for American Indian Ministries with the remainder to UCC’s justice ministries.
One Great Hour of Sharing is UCC”s “love offering to the world”. It connects us to both international and domestic disaster relief, refugee assistance, and development efforts in health, education, agriculture, microfinance and food security. Our contributions help meet urgent needs while also addressing the root causes of vulnerability – working towards long-term, sustainable solutions for affected communities. HOW TO GIVE
Click here on October 4, and select either “Neighbors in Need” or “One Great Hour of Sharing” as your designated fund. Or, write a check and specify the special offering in the memo line.
